You have reached the point when it is time to move from your current home, where you may have lived for decades, into a smaller place.  It is not usually an easy decision to make.

Whether it is to a new house, condo, apartment, or senior living facility, there are many challenges involved.

  • How do you decide what to take with you?

  • Will your existing furniture fit?

  • How will it be arranged?

I offer full space-planning and design services to help you answer all of those questions and more.

We will survey your existing furnishings together to determine what you want to take with you, and I will provide you with floor plans showing just how you can use your favorite pieces in your future home. Where necessary, I will also make recommendations for new pieces that may better accommodate your lifestyle in the smaller space.

The advance planning will make move day go smoothly and efficiently, so you can get settled into your new home in record time.

"Marcy Warnick assisted my wife
and me with our move from our
home of thirty-plus years to our
continuing care community… The
plan drawn by Marcy made the
move into our new space
extremely smooth; by looking at
her drawing we were able to tell
the movers where to place each
piece of furniture as they brought it
in the door. Everything worked
beautifully and we were so pleased
with the result… Working with
Marcy was a great experience.
She is as creative as she is
practical and her organizational
skills are outstanding."

Valuable Down-sizing Tip

Use tall pieces like armoires and bookcases to
provide the maximum
storage in the minimum amount
of floor space.
